As many of you know, we offer a delicious hot lunch program organized by volunteers of Kesher Connection. Hot kosher lunches are offered everyday at a cost of $4.25 per meal. The Leo Yassenoff JCC provides our lunches which include a serving of protein, carbohydrate, vegetable and/or fruit, with challah every Shabbat. What's for lunch?
There will be four menu cycles during the year. NO DEADLINE EXTENSIONS WILL BE MADE AND NO REFUNDS WILL BE PROVIDED. We must firmly adhere to this policy as these are essentially catered meals and we must provide our suppliers with an accurate count, as well as payment for all meals ordered. If your child is absent on the day the menu is sent home, it is your responsibility to call the school office and request a menu from the office staff. If there are any questions about methods of payment, please contact Julie or Avi Gabbay.

We need your help!

The hot lunch program only works because of the many parent volunteers who serve lunches to our children. To ensure that we have adequate volunteers, we require families who participate in the hot lunch program to serve lunch at least twice per cycle. Lunch shifts are set well in advance so you can plan your schedule; a complete schedule of volunteers for the cycle is sent home before the cycle begins.

Cycle 1 - Monday, August 27 - Friday, November 2
Cycle 2 - Monday, November 5 - Friday, January 25
Cycle 3 - Monday, January 28 - Friday, March 21
Cycle 4 - Monday, March 24 - Friday, June 6
