CJDS Lunch & Snack Information
Lunches and Snacks
You have a choice of purchasing a Hot Lunch (with sign-up and purchase in advance) through the JCC, or packing a lunch for your child. In addition, each child should bring a snack to school each day. Snacks and packed lunches must follow CJDS kashrut guidelines and should be healthy and nutritious.
- We do not allow sharing of any food at school. Students who forget their lunch will be provided with a hot lunch and charged for this convenience.
- The Hot Lunch program is provided by the JCC. Lunch menus are posted on the CJDS website under the Kesher Store http://cjds.hotlunch.com/plogin.php. Please pay close attention to the ordering deadlines for each lunch cycle. Hot Lunches are paid for in advance, and are payable to the JCC. Credit cards and checks are accepted. If a situation arises that is atypical and a child does not have a lunch, a hot lunch will be provided and the family will be billed for the hot lunch.
